It's Impossible to Make it in Poker Alone.
You No Longer Have To

You need people to point out your blind spots, discuss hands with you, and hold you accountable. It is a much easier and enjoyable experience to grow with other players. We have created a rock solid community with a high level of engagement to make sure you walk the path you set out. Also, when you deviate from your path, run bad, or get discouraged we will be here to support you.

The personal attention that Blake and his team put into the training is like nothing I have experienced anywhere else..

A Support Structure and Poker Community That is Unmatched

We have spent years developing a wide range of systems and support structures to create a poker experience that doesn’t exist anywhere else.

The 24/7 Slack Community

Poker is a game that requires support. The more support you have the quicker you will accomplish your goals. The path is designed to be your poker lifeline. Everything involving poker is supported in our community. When you join you have a full group of people and coaches available to you 24/7. When a session goes bad/good, when you have ANY type of question, when you want to modify or change your approach to the game...you are supported with the most cohesive community in poker.

“A few things make SoC the best. The syllabus approach and I feel part of a community of profitable players who genuinely care about each other, are open, honest, and accountable. And we generally don't do bad beat stories”

Tracking and Pulse

In order to make sure you are walking your path we will require an extensive amount of tracking. Our AI powered PULSE system allows us to follow your journey as a player. When a session goes good/bad, when you are in a downswing, when your mental game changes… We are able to see it all and help you adjust accordingly. This is a very unique service and offered nowhere else.

Blake and the team offer us a holistic approach to poker. They integrate principles of poker with principles of our life objectives. In doing so we learn to temper the highs of a big win and the lows of a devastating bad beat. We realize that there is much more to this game than Game Theory Optimal decision-making but at the same time they preach a quantitative, rational, data driven disciplined approach to the game.

ZOOM Study Sessions

Certain concepts and themes in the game are difficult to comprehend on your own. Our Zoom Study sessions create a platform where you can sit down and work through material with other students of a similar level.

School of Cards has brought me into a community of serious players and students of the game, this is far beyond watching training videos and reading books. If you know this game, you know it can be brutal, and having a community to support the improving player and get feedback from is vital.

The Weekly Coaching Session

Each week the School of Cards team will host one 30 minute coaching session with member that is recorded and released to the entire community. This is designed to help you see your own blindspots through the coaching of another member. This is one of the most helpful ongoing pieces of content we offer.

The information is explained in a very down to earth way. But the concepts and insights are high level.

The Health Challenges

Poker is a game that requires a great level of cognition. Your overall health is going to greatly affect your performance on table. We are committed to constantly improving your ability to perform and one of those is through our health challenges. We will do a series of 3-4 health challenges each year, designed to get you in better physical and mental shape as you work on your game.

The biggest difference between SOC and other training sites is that SOC is dedicated to not only making you a better poker player, but also to making you a better person. Your quality of life truly matters to them.

The Weekly Warmup

The Weekly Warmup is a series of hand breakdowns or assignments we release every Friday. The goal is to strengthen your understanding of key concepts and make sure you are consistently working on your game.

I think the collaboration between students and instructors is unique from what I have experienced elsewhere.

Quarterly Planning and Commitments

Poker is all about crafting a plan and executing on it. Each quarter we will go through a process where we define our goals and strategy and focus on what we want to achieve and accomplish.

Blake has a fun, relaxed way of making things understandable without getting too much into the weeds.  He meets me where I am, not where he is.
